Ashu Satvika Goyal received Bharat Vikas Ratan Award for outstanding achievement as a social activist. The award was presented to recipients by the Global Society for Health and Educational Growth.
The awards was presented at a seminar attended by counselor from Bhutan Embassy, Dawa Tshering, former diplomat VB Soni, AICC general secretary Ved Prakash, former Uttarakhand chief minister Harish Rawat, ICC member Anees Durrani and Rajya Sabha MP from Uttarakhand, Pradeep Tamta among others.
Goyal is the co-founder of Rang-Himalaya festival held annually in Dehradun since 2013 to celebrate diversity and earth fellowship. She works as an educational coordinator and event organiser in Nanhi Dunya an NGO working in the field of children and women welfare.
