Following resignation of veteran BJP leader lK Advani from all posts of the party, former chief minister of Uttarakhand, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ hoped that high command will attempt to redress his grievances.
According to him, BJP is a democratic and the largest party of the country. He termed Advani as the backbone of the BJP as he has experience of serving the party for many decades. Nishank said that the party high command is trying to woo him not to leave the party over petty issues.
Nishank also cornered the Congress-led State Government over the development issues and said the State Government is yet to introduce several measures to improve basic amenities along the Char Dham Yatra route. He said that the Congress activists are also busy cornering the State Government over development issues.
