Police made elaborate security arrangements for the oath taking ceremony of the newly elected MlAs in the Vidhan Sabha on Tuesday. Additional police forces were deployed outside the Vidhan Sabha with vigilant police not allowing anyone who had not the valid cards. And those who were allowed in were thoroughly frisked.
Traffic police were also found busy manning the traffic passing through the important crossings, particularly the one at Rispana bridge. Dehradun senior superintendent of police Sweety Aggarwal said that they had made fool-proof security arrangements in and around the Vidhan Sabha campus with additional forces being deployed.
