Acid attack victim Kavita Bisht has been declared the State’s brand ambassador for women’s empowerment. The department concerned issued necessary orders to this effect on Wednesday, said Women’s Empowerment and Child Development principal secretary Radha Raturi on Wednesday. Raturi also said that Kavita Bisht will work with the state government for the promotion of women empowerment and gender equality in different schools and institutions.
