A delegation of Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarti Parishad (ABVP) met the Superintendent of Police of Dehradun on Thursday and strongly condemned the derogatory remarks of the students union president of Doon University against the Indian Army.

The delegation was led by ABVP leader and former president of the DAV PG College students union, Paras Goyal. He said that the  one insulting the army refused to retract from her statement despite VC’s order. Goyal said that the delegation of ABVP which included students of Doon University are very agitated on such derogatory comments and requested the police to look into the issue and initiate action so that the academic environment of the university is not vitiated. The delegation included Naveen Rajoria, Satyendra Chauhan, Himalaya Ramola, Gaurav Tomar and others.
