A delegation of Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) met the Principal Secretary, Om Prakash on Friday and complained that the students are facing problems due to irregularities in Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU). The delegation was led by Former President of DAV, Paras Goyal. He said that the students of the university are facing problems due to regular delay in holding of examinations and late declaration of examination results. He said that when ABVP contacted the Vice Chancellor he said that the delay is being caused by shortage of staff. Goyal said that no guideline for recruitment was formulated though the university was established many years ago. The ABVP delegation handed over a memorandum and demanded that the Government should take immediate steps to resurrect the university.
