The Uttarakhand Bachao Yatra of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) reached Gairsain in Chamoli district on Sunday. The Yatra received a good reception in the town. Speaking on the occasion, the President of the state Working committee, Anoop Nautiyal said that the people of the state are disillusioned with both Congress and BJP and are positive towards AAP.
He said that the party is getting connected with people in remote areas of the State by the help of this Yatra. Nauitiyal added that the aim of the Yatra is to propagate a clean politics in the state and connect with more and more people with the party.
He said that both BJP and Congress parties are observing mere formalities in the name of Yatra while AAP has undertaken Yatra in a real sense.
Rakesh Negi the member of state working committee of the party said that the party is receiving tremendous response during the Yatra and is on the way towards consolidating its position in the state politics.
The Yatra is slated to reach Srinagar on Monday where state in-charge of Party Vivek Yadav, Deputy Chairman of Delhi Jal Board, Dinesh Monia and other top leaders of state party unit would be present.
