The first phase of ‘Uttarakhand Bachao’ Yatra of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was flagged off by State in-charge of party, Vivek Yadav on Friday at Haldwani. Speaking on the occasion he said that both Congress and BJP are exposed before the people of the State and the AAP is the only viable alternative before the people of Uttarakhand.
He exhorted the party workers to take the challenge and reach to every nook and corner of the State. launching a scathing attack on BJP and Congress the AAP leader said that both these parties are responsible for the sorry condition the State is in today.
He charged leaders of these parties for strangulating democracy in the State. The AAP leader said that both these parties are now afraid of AAP.
The Yatra is attended by President of State working committee, Anoop Nautiyal and hundreds of workers. The party plans to organise the Yatra in three phases.
