As per the district disaster control room, six roads have remained blocked for traffic due to downpour-triggered landslides on Tuesday. Following heavy rain, debris swept into the administrative block, sports ground and the campus of Eklavya Adarsh Awasiya Vidhyala, Kalsi. The students were later evacuated by police.
The six roads remaining blocked are Kotha karli motor road, Bhashan goan motor road, Donda motor road, Ghadhol Sakrol motor road, Mathau motor road and Samarjan motor road. Besides, bridges collapsed at Dungar and Nikhar in Chakrata while the Payjal lines were damaged at Chargarhkhand kalsi and Nikhla. Paddy crops were destroyed after the land eroded at Jogiyo in Chakrata.
