The medical health and family welfare department has promoted 36 senior medical officers (SMO) to the post of joint director. In an order the secretary, health Amit Singh Negi promoted these SMOs to the pay band 37400-6700, Grade Pay 8700 (old scale).
Their promotion would be effective from the date of their taking charge at the place of their current posting. Expressing happiness on the development, the general secretary of the Provincial Medical Health Services (PMHS), the association of doctors of state health services, Dr Manoj Verma said that the association is thankful to the secretary Amit Singh Negi and director general (GD) state health services, Dr Amita Upreti for the felicitating the promotion process of doctors.
