The count of dengue affected patients in Dehradun district mounted to 411 on Friday with 30 more samples proving positive for the disease in the Enzyme linked Immno Sorbent Assay (ElISA).
The delay in arrival of ElISA kits resulted in accumulation of large number of samples and these samples are now being tested from last two days resulting in spurt in number of cases in as many days. The District Vector Borne Diseases Officer JP Bahuguna said that only eight dengue affected people are undergoing treatment in the hospitals of the city while others have been discharged.
