The state health department reported 22 new patients of the Covid-19 in Uttarakhand on Tuesday. Death of no patient was reported from in the state on the day. The authorities also declared 41 patients cured from the disease on Tuesday.
The department has so far detected 91,991 new cases of the disease from January 1 this year till date. A total of 88,212 patients have recovered from the disease so far in this year while 272 patients have died in the state since January 1 this year. The recovery percentage of the disease was at 95.89 per cent on Tuesday. The positivity rate of the disease was reported at 0.43 per cent on the day. The health department reported nine new patients from Dehradun, eight from Haridwar and two from Almora on Tuesday. One patient each was found in Nainital, Pauri and Udham Singh Nagar districts while no new patient was reported from Bageshwar, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag, Tehri and Uttarkashi districts on the day.
The active case count of Covid-19 in the state is now at 297. Dehradun with 78 cases is at the top of the table of active cases while Haridwar has 49 active cases of the disease. Bageshwar is at the bottom of the table with only one active case of the disease. In the ongoing vaccination drive 22,980 people were vaccinated in 964 sessions in the state held on Tuesday.
