Uttarakhand Meteorological Centre has forecast light to moderate rain/thunder shower at isolated places in the State on Saturday. The Met officials said that as per available data, there is possibility of light to moderate or rather heavy rainfall at isolated places in the State for 48 hours from September 20. Dehradun residents woke up to a cloudy sky followed by drizzling at noon on Friday. The people got respite from hot and humid conditions they had suffered for the past few days in the district.
Uttarakhand Meteorological Centre director Bikram Singh said that generally cloudy sky has been forecast in Dehradun on Saturday. Thunder cloud development/light rain may occur in some areas in the district on that day. The maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 28.8°C and 22.7°C respectively in Dehradun on Friday. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 29°C and 22°C respectively in the city on Saturday, he added.
