‘HC has rejected students’ charges’
Dehradun: All India Institute of Aeronautics, Dehradun director Jitendra Chauhan said that the Uttarakhand High Court has rejected students’ allegations against the institute and held these allegations as invalid. It may be mentioned here that after the instituted failed to provide placement in multinational companies, the students of AIIA, Dehradun had protested at the office of Senior Superintendent of Police in the month of September and demanded refunding of their tuition fee from the institute. Following this, a case against institute office bearers was lodged on September 27 in Vasant Vihar police station. According to Chauhan, after the High Court order, FIR lodged by students against institution office bearers was canceled. The HC has rejected the allegations, he said.
