Asaram supporters indulge in scuffle with petrol pump employees
Dehradun: The supporters of self-styled godman Asaram Bapu who live in Asaram Ashram at Sahastradhara Road prevented petrol pump employees from using a hand pump and had a scuffle with them on Monday evening. In this regard, no case has been registered in the Raipur Police Station so far. Raipur Police Station in-charge Shankar Singh Bisht said that police were deployed after being informed about the scuffle among some persons at Sahastradhara Road and the issue was sorted out. “We have not received any written complaint from the aggrieved persons so far and case will be registered against the accused in the police station if complaint is received from victims,” he added. Sources said that irked over nuisance alleged created by the petrol pump employees under intoxication, Asaram Bapu supporters prevented them from using a hand pump. PNS
