Pushpa Saklani case: prime accussed held
In a high profile murder case of Pushpa Saklani, wife of senior advocate OP Saklani, CBI team arrested prime accused Brij Mohan alias Billa from Uttar Pradesh. later police produced him before the court and court sent him for five days judicial custody. It may be mentioned here that Pushpa Saklani, wife of senior advocate OP Saklani was murdered by unidentified persons in her home on October 16, 2012.
Addl charge for Dilip Jawalkar
Additional Secretary to CM and PWD Dilip Jawalkar has been given additional charge of Finance, sale tax commissioner and Programme Manager PIU-ADB& World Bank (roads and bridges); Additional secretary Finance Soujanya has been relieved from finance and sale tax commissioner and given charge of additional secretary peyjal and project director Swajal. Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam (KMVN) MD Deepak Rawat has been given additional charge of Member judiciary, revenue council, Nainital.
Anganwadi workers get Rs 1,000 hike
Taking cognisance on the Anganwadi workers’ demand State Government has increased their allowance by Rs 1000. Besides it ASHA workers will get Rs 5000 as bonus in place of Rs 1000 earlier. Uttarakhand has become first state, which is paying highest allowance to the Anganwadi workers.
Four PCS officers promoted to ias rank
Four PCS officers Yugal Kishor Pant, Ranjit Singh Chouhan, Dheeraj Singh Garbyal and Atul kumar Gupta have been promoted in the rank of IAS officer. Although a departmental promotion committee (DPC) meeting took place on Wednesday but no official confirmation came so far.
