Rajya Sabha MP and national media in-charge of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Anil Baluni has claimed that all the leaders of Congress barring former CM Harish Rawat and one or two of his supporters are interested in joining the BJP.
Talking to media persons on the sideline of a party event on Friday, Baluni said,"We have to put up a board of 'house full' now.” It is pertinent to mention here that Baluni had played a key role in defection of Congress MLA Rajkumar and joining of independent MLA Pritam Singh Panwar in the BJP.
Meanwhile, responding to the statement the Congress state vice-president Dhirendra Pratap said that Baluni is daydreaming.
He said that the Congress has received considerable public support during its Parivartan Yatra and will soon conduct it in the remaining 11 districts of the state.
The Congress will win the 2022 Assembly elections by a large margin and form the government in the state. The BJP should rather focus on saving itself, added Pratap.
