The Zila Parishad Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, members, along-with BDC Chairperson called on Himachal Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh here on Monday and urged him for budgetary allocation under 14th Finance Commission on the analogy of 13th Finance Commission.
They said that the funds allocated earlier under the 13th finance Commission had been lying unspent in the account of the department concerned and this had suffered the development works. They said that the unspent funds may be released to Zila Parishad and Samiti members for expediting the development projects which were in limbo.
The Delegation also urged for increase in their honorarium. They also urged for facilities to be provided in Himachal Bhawan and Himachal Sadan in Delhi and Chandigarh at par with the government officials.
