Haryana Archaeology and Museums and Education Minister, Ram Bilas Sharma on Thursday said that the Education Department would provide a scholarship if any student will conduct a scientific study related to archaeology.
Sharma was speaking after inaugurating two-day national workshop on Geospatial Technology for Archaeology organised by Haryana Space Applications Centre in collaboration with Department of Archaeology and Museums, at Panchkula near herey. The workshop was attended by more than 100 delegates from different universities and institutes from India.
The Minister also spoke on history of Saraswati river in Haryana, Rajasthan and Gujarat.
