Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal has asked the general public not to come with requests for transfers during Sangat Darshan programmes as the Punjab Government has already banned the general transfers in the State.

During a Sangat Darshan held here on Saturday at Punjab Bhawanm he expressed to the applicants that as per transfer policy of the state last date for transfers has already elapsed. Adding further, he said that no request will be entertained during the Sangat Darshans for any transfer and employees could file their requests during next year in the month of May after release of new transfer policy.

In the public redressal program, Deputy Chief Minister patiently listened to the grievances of about 150 people and directed the concerned to redress the same within week.

Terming the Sangat Darshan programme as a fruitful exercise, Badal said that people were highly benefited from this move as they were able to get their pending issues resolved immediately.
