A five-day winter session of Himachal Pradesh Assembly will be held from November 30 to December 4. A notification to this effect has been issued by Governor Acharya Devvrat.
Releasing the approved calendar for the session, Assembly Speaker, Brij Bihari lal Butail, said the session would be held at Dharamsala and there would be five sittings including the private member's day.
Normally, the winter session of the Assembly is held in third or last week of December but it has been advanced by about two weeks this year in view of elections to Panchayati Raj bodies and urban local bodies, slated in December and January.
