leader of Opposition in Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Sukhpal Singh Khaira on Thursday expressed shock over the “meek surrender” by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal from SAD leader Bikramjit Singh Majithia in 2016 defamation case.
Khaira, took to Twitter, to clarify that the state party unit has not been consulted on the issue of tendering written apology.
“We’re appalled and stunned by the apology of @ArindKejriwal tendered today, we don’t hesitate to admit that we haven’t been consulted on this meek surrender by a leader of his stature,” he tweeted late in the evening.
