Himachal Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and Governor RBI Raghuram Rajan on Thursday launched ‘RuPay’ ATM-cum-debit Card of Cooperative Bank here.
The HP State Cooperative Bank became the first Cooperative bank of the country to have its own ‘RuPay’ ATM-cum-debit card.
Virbhadra Singh also hosted a lunch for the RBI Governor and other dignitaries of RBI at Peterhoff.
The Chief Minister honoured the Governor, Reserve Bank of India and other
senior officers of RBI by presenting them Himachali cap and shawl.
Raghuram is in Shimla for RBI Central Board meeting and other engagements.
