To boost e-governance in the working of various Colleges here, the UT Administration would soon introduce the facility of online admission and online payment of fee through Payment Gateway.
Also, a database would be maintained and day to day activities of College would be registered. A software would be introduced which would maintain students’ module comprises of all the particulars and detailing of each student along with their personal information. likewise, faculty and staff module would take care of attendance, lectures, payments etc.
Internal Messaging module (e-Mail & SMS) would also be provided to maintain a hassle free communication.
“Every student, faculty staff would be given an ID and password to access accounts. Every student and staff’s detail would be available there on a click of a mouse. There would be sub modules like time table module, scheduler and event module to manage the yearly calendar of classes, lectures, seminars and various events,” said a senior official of UT Administration.
The official said, “All the modules will work in tandem to implement a smooth functioning of the entire college. The system is very user friendly and enhances the entire management.”
“The entire e-college
campus solution software which will be put in place in next 6 months has been developed in house by SPIC. It will begin with implementation of Enrollment and Admission portal followed by attendance system, academic results, centralised fee collection & student/parent portal, audit & Google apps,” added the official.
