The UT Registering and licensing Authority (RlA) has started process for affixation of High Security Registration Plates on old vehicles already registered in the Union Territory of Chandigarh at three notified locations.
The series include CH01AW, CH01AV, CH01AU, CH01AT, CH01AS, CH01AR, CH01AQ, CH01AP, CH01AN and CH01AM. The notified locations are the offices of R&lA, Sector 17, SDM(S) Sector 42 and SDM (E), Industrial Area, Phase I.
A spokesperson of the RlA said that the owners of the vehicle having registration number of these mentioned series are requested to apply for affixation of HSRP at their respective offices with the request on plain paper inserting the detail of chassis number, engine number, make, model along with a copy of registration certificate of the vehicle and copy of valid insurance, immediately.
