The UT Department of Food and Supplies and Consumer Affairs has invited objections against inclusion of beneficiaries in the Below Poverty line (BPl) and Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) list for the implementation of National Food Security Act 2013 in the union territory of Chandigarh.
The objections can be filed upto November 5. A spokesperson of the Administration said that the Department has started the process of implementing the National Food Security Act, 2013, in the city.
The criteria for inclusion and exclusion of eligible households for public awareness, along with the list of existing BPl and AAY beneficiaries have also been placed on the departmental website as well as department office, SDMs office and deputy commissioner's office.
