Chandigarh BJP on Thursday alleged that the policies of the present Congress Government at the Centre are anti-Dalit, anti-poor and anti-labourer.
BJP national chairman of Committee on legal Affairs and Election Commission issues and former city MP Satya Pal Jain said that the Congress is fully responsible for the high price rise, unemployment and poverty, due to which the common man has been brought to the verge of starvation. Referring to local MP Pawan Kumar Bansal and his nephew Vijay Singla, the BJP said that the coterie of the ‘Mama Bhanja’ has taken corruption to unimaginably high levels.
While addressing a public meeting here, Jain said that the Congress Government has looted the common man and by its high corruption, has filled up its own pockets as well as those of big industrialists with the hard earned money belonging to the people of this country.
The BJP leader alleged that under the Congress rule, it has become almost impossible for the poor man to feed his family twice a day. Under the very Government which came to power in the name of the common man, it is the common man itself which has been hit the hardest.
The scheduled caste Morcha of BJP has planned to organise public meetings across Chandigarh to expose the misdeeds of Congress and to ensure the victory of BJP in the forthcoming lok Sabha Elections.
