To woo the voters of Haryana, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati will address a rally in Haryana on March 25. Her first political rally in the State will be organised in Hisar district. Thereafter, she would address a political meeting at HUDA Gymkhana Club ground at Sector 29 in Gurgaon.

Mayawati would be addressing the rally in support of candidate Mange Ram Prajapati and other party nominees in the State. BSP State unit president Naresh Saran is supervising arrangements for the rally and public meeting. The BSP may not have won any seat out of total ten in Haryana in lok Sabha elections but its voteshare climbed to 15.73 per cent in 2009 parliamentary polls.

The political observers maintain that the BSP will do well in the coming polls and it is expected that the party will reach lok Sabha with around 20 seats.

Meanwhile, Mayawati is using her ‘social engineering’ policy during elections. She is advocating for the poor class not on the basis of caste, colour or creed but on the basis of their economical conditions. She had successfully used this method in UP earlier. BSP had started its lok Sabha campaign from Chhattisgarh on March 22 and the BSP supremo addressed a rally in Bhubaneswar, Orissa on March 23. It may be recalled that the BSP announced the names of party’s candidates from all 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh few days ago.

This time, Mayawati is eyeing more lok Sabha seats as she knows that in a hung Parliament each seat becomes precious and with around 20-30 seats in her kitty, the former UP Chief Minister can seal good political deals.
