Three major incidents in three days reflects Cong Govt’s failure: AAP

PNS

Alleging that there was total collapse of law and order in Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday stated that the three major incidents in just three days reflected the Congress Government’s failure.

AAP’s senior leader and Sunam MLA Aman Arora raised finger on the jungle raj prevailing in the state and the total collapse of law and order under Capt Amarinder Singh led Government.

“Despite getting inputs from intelligence agencies, the occurrence of three major incidents in last three days shows that the government is in deep slumber leaving fate of the people of the state to destiny,” said Arora, while addressing the media after meeting ailing AAP leader and party’s Amritsar district’s former president Suresh Sharma in Amritsar.

Arora said that bomb blast at Amritsar, killing of the father-in-law of a senior IAS officer, and murderous attack on AAP leader could have avoided if the Government was serious about the security and safety of the people of the state.

He said that the incidents happened in last few days depict the anarchy prevailed in the state. “The police and intelligence agencies have failed drastically to protect the people of the state,” he said.

Commenting on the arrest of one accused in Nirankari Bhawan blast case, he said that the incident could have avoided. “There is an alarming situation in the state as the unemployed youth is indulging into drug and anti-social activities due to the Government’s apathy. Congress promised to wave off farm debt, providing jobs to youth etc, but is now shying away from the promises,” he said while advising Capt Amarinder to utilise energy of youth in positive way by providing jobs.
