Union Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj on Sunday asked Haryana BJP legislators to work on different definitions of development and good governance.
“If corruption persists, good governance would lose its meaning. The BJP Government under the leadership of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal Khattar has also conceived of development with good governance, she said while speaking on the concluding day of three-day training workshop organised for the newly elected BJP members of the legislative Assembly at SurajKund in Faridabad.
Asking the MlAs to meet the expectations of the people, she said that the increase in the number of BJP MlAs to 47 from 4 in the outgoing House showed both the vote of trust and expectations of the people.
“Good governance alone would benefit the common man and all MlA should make it their aim. If they do so, Haryana would rank among the States with good governance”, she added.
While talking to the mediapersons after the training programme, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal Khattar said that the BJP legislators training is a continuous process. Such training camps are beneficial for newly elected legislators. He added its ongoing process and training camp will be organised according to their need again.
