The construction of spillway of the lower Suktel Irrigation Project continued amidst protest by local villagers, including women and children, for the fourth consecutive day on Thursday.

According to reports, as the conditions of 14 fasting activists of the Prishad deteriorated, they were admitted in the District Headquarters Hospital here for treatment.
