PNS

Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal on Monday condemned Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal for his “foolish attempt” to clean the already cleaned utensils at Sri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar, during langar sewa.

Stating that AAP leaders were “completely ignorant about the religious norms”, Sukhbir minced no words to term them as “a bunch of atheists which has no respect for any religion”.

Branding Kejriwal as a past master in dramatics, Sukhbir said that the AAP convener is eyeing power in the state by misleading the people.

Sukhbir, interacting with the media-persons on the occasion of launching of new atta-dal scheme in the state, said that Kejriwal had earlier also hurt religious sentiments of the world Punjabi diaspora especially the Sikh community by demolishing ‘Piau Sahib’ at Gurudwara Sri Sisganj Sahib in Delhi and pasting AAP symbol ‘broom’ on the photograph of Sri Durbar Sahib on a frivolous youth manifesto of AAP.

lambasting AAP, while earlier addressing a gathering, Sukhbir said that Kejriwal is a “habitual liar” who has not lived up to even a single promise he made to the electorate before entering politics. AAP MlAs in Delhi are receiving the heftiest pay perks in the country whereas instead of ushering in development, the AAP government has ruined Delhi, he said.
