Punjab Technical Education Minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Monday announced to facilitate the last year registered youth for Job Fairs by announcing that last year registered students need not to re-register this year, they are directly eligible for appearing in the interviews during the State level Job Fairs.
“This decision has been taken to provide chance to everyone to get a job,” said Channi adding that the already registered students can appear in any nearest Job Fair or where they are interested to appear in the institute where companies are coming as per their education qualification.
The decision was taken during a meeting with the chancellors of the private universities and senior officials of the department.
Besides, in another decision, the students who were unable to register due to any reason can register on the spot for Job fair at the venue and appear for the interview.
