The declaration of the result for the posts of student council was delayed till late in the evening even as all major students party sat on a protest before the Vice-Chancellors office alleging mass scale pole code violation as mentioned by the lyngdoh Commission.
Navdeep Goyal, Dean Student Welfare declared the result and said that all election code violation will be scrutinised within two weeks subject to which the results have been declared. If any candidate is found guilty their nomination will be termed null and void.
