Haryana Finance Minister Capt Abhimanyu on Thursday dismissed as false, baseless and mischievous the allegations levelled by Congress MlA Karan Singh Dalal, on the lack of transparency in dealing with complaints and the court cases against two of the three allottees of stone mines in Bhiwani district which were auctioned in 2013.
Congress MlA Karan Singh Dalal while talking to the mediapersons on Thursday had alleged that HSIIDC is trying to delay mining operation at Khanak stone Mine and had also levelled allegations on Capt. Abhimanyu of being benefitted due to his position.
Reacting to the allegations of the Congress’ legislators, Finance Capt. Abhimanyu said, “The reason behind such false, baseless and mischievous allegations is Congress Party's frustration for its defeat in the last Assembly elections, their shrinking base, and the resultant nervousness which is palpably visible in the wake of the submission of the Dhingra Commission report.”
The Finance Minister described the allegations as a ridiculous attempt by the Congress MlA to divert public attention in his characteristic shoot-and-scoot style in retaliation for the privilege motion passed against him by the Haryana Vidhan Sabha.
Talking on mining operation at Khanak stone Mine, the Minister gave details about Court proceedings on this and said that the case has now been sent to State Government for starting the mine again and HSIIDC is eager to start the mining operations at the earliest.
Dalal has been continuously levelling false and baseless allegations against the BJP Government during its 22-month regime in the state. He has not submitted any evidence or proof in support of his allegation that members of the Cabinet acted as insurance agents and got 30 per cent commission from insurance companies in the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, said the Minister.
"The BJP is not involved in any wrongdoing like the Congress did in its 10-year rule in the state. On the contrary, the present government considers politics as a tool of social service. I consider misuse of power as unethical and illegal," he added.
