The Chandigarh BJP on Monday held a protest demonstration against BSP councillor Jannat Jahan Ul-Haq. The youth wing of city party unit burnt an effigy of Jannat and alleged that Jannat has failed to look into the problems of people living in Hallomajra.
Sloganeering against Jannat, the BJP leaders alleged that the area councillor Jannat has failed to fulfil her promises. The area of Hallomajra is in miserable condition. From roads to sewerage, all facilities are in bad condition. Chandigarh BJYM president Amit Rana said that Jannat did nothing for the development of her area and people in Hallomajra are suffering due to the nonchalant attitude of the area councillor.
