In an order which has far reaching consequences, the Tribunal Court constituted in Faridabad under Parents and Senior Citizen Maintenance Act, has been sentenced 15 days imprisonment to one Sandeep for not taking care of his father and not abiding by the orders of tribunal.
An official spokesman said that about 18 cases were presented in the monthly hearing of tribunal court in Faridabad. He said that during the last tribunal complaint was registered by Ganga Ram, a resident of Dabua Colony, Faridabad against his son Sandeep and the tribunal had ordered the son to vacate the house.
Violating the orders of the court, Sandeep did not vacate the house and Ganga Ram again registered a complaint against him following which the tribunal sentenced him 15 days imprisonment. In another case, on the basis of a complaint registered by a woman, the Tribunal ordered to install CCTV cameras in the house of the complainant to keep an eye on the behaviour of her son.
