Pointing at the “timing” of leaks of ED’s charge-sheet and Majithia’s apprehensions of a “conspiracy” to frame him, Jakhar minced no words to say that someone from the establishment was trying to fix him.
“I have told him this earlier in the House and again saying this on Wednesday that it is someone from the establishment, who knows his dealings and about the investigations, who is trying to fix you,” Jakhar told Majithia.
He said that soon he would know that all these “timely revelations” would come down within their own establishment else the prime accused Bhola would not have hold half-an-hour long press conference where he named Majithia without any support.
Jakhar went on to say that fearing Majithia’s “political prominence and political graph going up”, “somebody is feeding it to the media otherwise the charge-sheet has been submitted in the court on March 3”.
ClP leader refused to name any one “until and unless he has any evidence” whether the person is within the Akali Dal or the Centre. “Establishment could be anything,” he said.
