The Department of Sociology of MCM DAV College for Women organised an interactive session with Sri M a social reformer, an educationist and a spiritual luminary.
Under the leadership of Sri M, Manav Ekta Mission is undertaking a padyatra for peace and harmony
from Kanyakumari to Kashmir under the banner Walk for Hope.
He apprised the students of the purpose of this walk i.e. to rekindle the flame of love, peace, harmony and unity in the country. Prodding the students to join in his noble cause, Sri M said that the youth can play a constructive role in society by standing up for equality, education, health, development, tolerance and inter-faith harmony.
Principal of MCM DAV College Dr Nisha Bhargava exhorted the youth to take charge and restore the innate spirit of brotherhood in the country.
