Sarbat Khalsa congregation: SAD steps up attack on Cong

PNS

The ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Tuesday stepped up its attack on the Congress party over the party’s alleged support to the November 10 Sarbat Khalsa congregation.

The SAD has asked the Congress party to clarify its stand on the claims of SAD (Amritsar) president Simranjit Singh Mann that everybody present on the stage at Chabba function “knew that it was Khalistani stage”.

“Congress has now been caught red handed in the act. Its leaders have been seen by the whole world addressing Khalistani gatherings…They have been caught on social media in telephone snoops making conspiracies against peace, communal harmony, unity and integrity of the country. They have been heard issuing orders on the appointment of jathedars of the Akal Takht. Can they still deny that they were the masterminds behind the so-called Sarbat Khalsa,” asked  SAD MP and party’s general secretary Prem Singh Chandumajra.

He pointed that Mann had made the sensational disclosure that “everyone present on the stage (in that function) knew that it was a Khalistani stage”. Congress legislators Inderjit Singh Zira Ramanjit Singh Sikki and prominent Congressman Satwant Singh Manawan were also present on the stage.
