The Shiromani Akali Dal president will be elected on September 3 in the delegate session of the party to be held at Amritsar. In a statement released from the party head office on Friday, SAD secretary and spokesman Daljit Singh Cheema said to elect the president and other office bearers delegate session of the party will be held at Teja Singh Samundri Hall Amritsar. SAD patron and Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, party president and Punjab Deputy Chief Minister S Sukhbir Singh Badal and other 445 elected delegates will participate in the delegate session. Cheema further said that apart from Punjab, recruitment for party is carried out in Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, UP, Uttrakhand, HP and Jammu Kashmir.
