Strongly hitting back at Congress party and its Ministers for questioning Akali Dal on Kartarpur Sahib corridor, the SAD on Sunday said that it was Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh who had raised question about this corridor.
Releasing Capt Amarinder’s video on Kartarpur Sahib corridor, the SAD senior leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa asked the ministers, including Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Bharat Bhushan Ashu and eight MLAs on whose named statement was issued, to first listen to the video and then explain to ‘Nanak Naam Leva Sangat’ that why Congress leader chose to oppose this corridor.
“It was Akali Dal who had raised issue of this corridor since long and it followed up the issue with the Centre who acceded to honour Sikh sentiments and built Kartarpur Sahib corridor. SAD has always worked for the Sikh community and will continue to do so but it is always the Congress party which works against the Sikh community and always tries to sabotage the projects related with the community,” he said.
Sirsa said that before levelling baseless allegations, these Ministers and MLAs should admit that their leader and their party is trying to sabotage this projects for which millions of Sikhs are praying to open in the world.
