Rebel Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Kurukshetra, Raj Kumar Saini is all set to float his political outfit on September 2.Saini will be formally floating his loktantra Suraksha party on September 2 at a rally to be held in Panipat.

“loktantra Suraksha party will contest elections on all 10 lok Sabha seats and 90 Vidhan Sabha seats in Haryana. The reason to form the party is to save democracy and republican nature of the polity,” said Raj Kumar Saini while talking to the mediapersons here.

A known critic of his own party and Central and Haryana Governments, Saini listed five agendas as his top priorities if voted to power in 2019 polls.

He said, “We have vowed to remove caste-based discrimination and will ensure reservation to all castes as per share in population if voted to power. The party will ensure employment to at least one member of each family and introduction of “hum do-hamare do” policy (only two children) to control population.”

The party will also address the issues of farmers and laborers. Besides, a nationwide campaign would be launched over our demand of abolishing Rajya Sabha which was set up by the Britishers to serve their own interest, he said.

Attacking the BJP and Congress, Saini said, “Both parties have indulged in caste-based discrimination and used the issue of reservation as a political tool. Both these parties are promoting dynasty politics and have failed to address the issue of corruption.”

On a question why he is not ready to leave the BJP, the party MP said, “I will not quit the party and complete my five years term. I was elected by people and will raise their voice and resolve their grievances till the end of my tenure. If the party wants, they can suspend me.”

Responding to a query if he is in contact with other rebel MPs from Haryana, Saini said, “I have not contacted any one to join my party.”

While Raj Kumar Saini has already announced a new political outfit to contest 2019 polls, party’s MP from Bhiwani-Mahendragarh, Dharambir Singh has expressed his unwillingness to contest next lok Sabha poll preferring to contest assembly polls instead. On the other hand, Gurugram MP Rao Inderjit Singh and Karnal MP Ashwani Chopra have also been voicing their displeasure over the government’s functioning.

Continuing his anti-Jat rants, Raj Kumar Saini said that the entire Haryana was burnt due to Jat reservation in the year 2016. Yet, the BJP had given them (Jat) reservation and compensation… BJP succumbed under pressure to the designs of Jat leaders and tried depriving other backward classes of their rights, he alleged.

lashing out at former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, he said that earlier, Hooda gave reservation to his community for political gains and then, BJP did the same thing inspite of Court’s directions on Jat reservation issue.

He also blamed BJP led Central and Haryana Governments for violent Jat stir in 2016.

Dalits were treated the same way under BJP’s regime as they treated in the past over six decades under Congress, he added.

When asked about his alleged role in inciting the Jat agitation 2016 with his anti-Jat statements, Saini denied the allegations and said that it was the people close to former CM Hooda who were involved in inciting the reservation protest.
