Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Charanjit Singh Atwal on Wednesday administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly elected Akali Dal MlA from Khadoor Sahib Assembly constituency Ravinder Singh Brahmpura at his office in the presence of Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal.
Badal congratulated Brahmpura for his
landslide victory with a huge margin of 65,664 votes during the by-election of assembly segment.
The newly elected MlA was accompanied by his father, lok Sabha Member Ranjit Singh Brahmpura and his son Jagatdeep Singh.
Those who attended the oath taking ceremony included Cabinet Ministers Bikram Singh Majithia, Gulzar Singh Ranike and Sikander Singh Maluka.
