Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev will visit Chandigarh on Friday and hold a meeting with the Haryana Government in connection with promotion of yoga and ayurveda in the State.
Ramdev, who is Haryana's brand ambassador for promotion of yoga and ayurveda, will be meeting senior Ministers and top officials of the State Government, said Haryana's Education Minister, Ram Bilas Sharma while addressing a Press conference here.
Apart from promoting yoga and ayurveda in a big way, the Manohar lal Khattar Government has planned to set up herbal forest where plants of 25,000 species of ayurvedic herbs would be grown under Ramdev's and his close aide Balkrishna's supervision.
Meanwhile, Haryana Pradesh Mahila Congress has decided to greet Ramdev with black flags in the city over his pharmacy's 'Putrajeevak Beej' medicine. Notably, Ramdev's Patanjali Yogpeeth Trust has sought to clarify the controversy over 'Putrajeevak Beej' medicine manufactured by the yoga guru-owned Divya Pharmacy, saying the drug was meant for dealing with infertility problem in women.
