PYC to organise ‘Tractor Rally’ from Punjab to Delhi against anti-farmers ordinance on Sept 20

To raise the voice of nationwide agitating farmers against the anti-farmer ordinance passed by Narendra Modi-led BJP-Akali Central Government, the Punjab Youth Congress on Monday announced to organize a ‘Tractor Rally’ from Punjab to Delhi on September 20.

“The ordinance passed by the Modi Government to benefit the big business house will ruin the farming sector of the states like Punjab. If the Modi Government tables the Bill in the ongoing session of Lok Sabha, PYC will stand by the demands of the famers and march towards Parliament on tractors,” said PYC president Barinder Singh Dhillon.

Dhillon said that the Narendra Modi led Central Government has ruined the country’s economy with his “illogical” and “anti-people” policies and now is hell bent to destroy the farming sector for the benefits of Adani-Ambani. “The arrogant Modi is ignoring the dissent voice and valid suggestions of the farmers,” he added. Displaying his firm stand in support of the farmers of Punjab, the Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh has opposed the anti-farmers ordinance by passing a resolution against it.

“It is the time now to collectively raise the voice against the policies of the Modi Government that can further destroy the already indebted sector,” he said.
