The salary of Government employees in Punjab would be released from March 7 onwards, state Finance Minister Parminder Singh Dhindsa said here. In a statement, he said the salaries could not be released because of some technical snags and non-receipt of share from central taxes.
“The State Government has managed the salaries of the employees from its own resources,” he said. The release comes in the wake of complaints that the salaries of last month were not released till date.
