Warning Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal against spreading ‘political terrorism’, State Congress General Secretary Fateh Jung Singh Bajwa on Sunday said that the SAD-BJP Government would face people’s wrath.

Bajwa, addressing series of rallies in support of Congress candidates in Block Samiti and Zila Parishad elections in Gurdaspur district, said that Badal had thrown to wind all democratic and moral values and is creating an atmosphere of terror. “By not allowing people of State to participate in Panchayat Election with free will, Badal has been setting up wrong precedents,” he said.

He added that PPCC president Parap Singh Bajwa had waged a war against lawlessness and corruption in Punjab and would take the fight to logical end.

“Akalis are desperate to hold on power. Jathedars are running the police stations and police is busy protecting criminals,” he added while condemning the Ferozepur police for not registering case against Akali goons who fired at on Congress MlA from Guru Har Sahai Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi.

Bajwa hailed Congress workers who were fighting against the highhandedness of SAD-BJP Government despite being threatened by police.

“Police is forcing many Congress candidates to withdraw in favour of SAD nominees. “Congress would never give up and would continue its protest by democratic means,” he added.
