Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal on Monday directed the officers concerned to prepare a comprehensive plan for the Film City to be built in Panchkula district.
He also directed the officers to accelerate the speed to set up an Airstrip so that people can avail air taxi service from Pinjore in future.
Khattar while presiding over a review meeting regarding the development plan of Panchkula asked to ensure the holistic development of Panchkula district. During the meeting, the Chief Minister said that with these development plans, Panchkula would certainly become a major hub for medical, tourism and paragliding.
He was apprised that Paragliding can be done from Morni to Tikkar Taal and for this, 10 youth from rural areas have been imparted a basic course of paragliding and five youth have done an advanced course in this.
Paragliders will fly from Morni and will land in the Tikkar Taal. The youth who have undertaken this course will help tourists in paragliding.
The Chief Minister directed officers to work towards fixing the rules for conducting paragliding in Haryana at the earliest.
