The entire record of patients at 55 district hospitals of Haryana and at PGIMS Rohtak would be made available online by March next.
Besides, prescripstion slips, X-rays and other related information would be online so as to facilitate the patients in getting treatment at any other hospital, said Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij while presiding over a meeting of senior officers of Health and Medical Education Departments here.
Vij also directed the concerned officers to get the bandwidth increased so as to improve the internet facilities.
To upgrade the standard of health services and medical education in the state, the Gujarat model would be studied so as to explore possibility of cooperation of private institutes, said the Minister.
He directed the officers of Haryana Urban Development Authority to look for a piece of land within a radius of 10 kms from the present General Hospital in Panchkula so as to set up a medical college.
